History of Saxonburg Tour/Field Trip

We will board the bus and travel to Uncle Billy’s Grave Site and tour around the Saxonburg area as Steve points out historic landmarks before stopping at Saxonburg Museum for about a 90 minute visit. We will then travel to the Field House for lunch.

We are surrounded by names that we see or hear every day and never think about. Most of these places and things have names of historical significance and many have fascinating stories.

Our first History Hobo event was a bus trip to Civil War sites in Pittsburgh. The itinerary included:
