Fort Pitt and the Founding of Pittsburgh

A contest for supremacy between France and Great Britain began at the forks of the three rivers and ultimately changed the world we live in today.  Visit Fort Pitt blockhouse, the oldest building west of the Allegheny Mountains.  Then learn about the beginning of the city of Pittsburgh as we take guided tours of the Fort Pitt Museum and Point State Park.


Butler County Airport Tour

Founded in 1929, Pittsburgh – Butler Regional Airport had scheduled airline service for decades before Pittsburgh International was opened.  On our visit, we will learn about the current airport operations and hear many stories of the early days of aviation including legendary flyers like Ken Scholter and Amelia Earhart.
